A binding estimate lets you know in advance the actual cost of moving. Here, the cost is determined based on the services you request. If you require additional services than what is mentioned in a binding estimate, the total cost of the moving service will increase.

On the other hand, a non-binding estimate is based on the real-time weight of your shipment as well as the cost of using the moving service. The weight is calculated by weighing the truck before the loading is done. Once the truck is loaded, it is weighed again. The difference between the two weights gives the real-time weight of the shipment. In case there are additional charges (though these are very rare), we will let you know.
